We’re looking for a talented and motivated full-stack engineer with 3+ years of experience and a passion for building user-facing security features to help make Gusto safer. As a Product Security Engineer, you'll work with our Security and Product teams to plan, design and architect security-related features for our users, build backend APIs (mostly Rails), write the front-end code that consumes said APIs (mostly React.js), and own security features in our app. Examples of features that you’ll be shipping may include: More robust multi-factor authentication (like U2F), user behavior anomaly detection, non-intrusive CAPTCHAs to protect against bot attacks, secure messaging tools, user-security review flows, and ways to incentivize our users to turn on more security-related features.
